The students...

We as the students have worked thoroughly hard throughout this third and final year, so hosting Pixel Pier is very important to us.

We're a diverse and creative bunch (pictured left in full glory) of individuals, so many of the projects we're currently undertaking will involve all kinds of animation, graphical interfaces and web apps.

All of us come from different walks of life, with individual interests and backgrounds in design, music, animation etc...making all our work unique in so many ways.

The course: Interactive Media Production...

Students on this course make a range of interactive media projects; combining sound, video, graphics, words and animation with interactivity. In other words, students create projects that you don't just sit and watch but that you have to actively 'play' with or 'use' in some way.

The course aims to give students a good grasp of interactive media production principles, an aesthetic appreciation of interactive media products and an understanding of the contexts of interactive media production and technologies.

Also, in order to be an effective producer of interactive media, students learn to understand the changing roles of media and technology and their effect on society. This course is set within a firm professional framework that reflects development and change within the interactive media industries.
